Putikitiki Afternoon

Thursday afternoons we aim to be on Putikitiki with our buddy class Room
This Thursday we went for a big walk right around the school, and then down to Putikitiki.
We talked about what we saw, and then we got to use our big muscles and coordination on the playground.  Some of us rolled down the big grassy hill.

Gymnastics

The beginning of Term 4!
This week we had a fun time learning some gymnastic moves in the hall.  We walked on the beam, did a roll, and jumped on the big mats, two feet together.

Putikitiki Time

Thursday afternoons are planned for Putikitiki Time.  We play together on the playground.  We are developing and learning many skills at play - gross motor skills, turntaking, team work, communication.  Next term we want to start exploring the trees and bush that surrounds Putikitiki.
